Gods of the Dungeon

Gods of the Dungeon
In reading through my copy of Dungeonscape last night, I couldn't help but notice a lack of the divine. Unlike previous environment books such as Sandstorm and Frostburn, there are no environment-themed deities provided. Seeing as how dungeons are such an integral part of the D&D world, I thought I might try to rectify this, so here are some potential Gods of the Dungeon.

-----

Karuluk
Lord of Traps (LN)
Often appearing as a particularly lithe kobold, Kaluruk is the god of traps and trapmakers. He has also been known to manifest as a stooped gnome artificer or an immensely complex and subtle trap. His domains are Trickery, Knowledge, and Craft. His holy symbol is a circlet with five inward-facing needles.

Arconix
God of the Hoard; The Wealthmonger (NE)
Usually depicted as an unnaturally bloated dragon lying upon a bed of gold and jewels, Arconix is obsessed with possessing things. He has no interest in using them; he just wants to have them, and to make sure others do not. His domains are Greed, Wealth, and Gluttony. His holy symbol is a serpentine tail coiled around a golden coin.

Jouliet
Mistress of Chains; The Warden of the World (LN)
While the other gods listed here are gods of things found in the dungeon, Jouliet is the goddess of dungeons and prisons themselves. She is worshipped primarily by jailors and prison guards, as well as by some misguided souls trapped on the plane of Carceri. Her domains are Law, Protection, and Planning. Her holy symbol is a padlock without a keyhole.

I like this, I might even use Karuluk to guide my 1 and only rogue down the path of cleric.

Thanks. I toyed with the idea of developing a new Traps domain for him, but since I'm doing these primarily at work and a number of the spells I'd want aren't in the on-line SRD, that wasn't feasible.

Kurtulmak, the kobold deity, is considered the god of traps according to Complete Divine, and Tiamat is considered the goddess of conquest and greed, which could work for dungeons.

Karuluk was named specifically to fit in with the kobold nomenclature -- and I gave him the form of a kobold for the same reason. Why occasionally show up as a gnome? Why, to lure kobolds into his traps, of course! :)

And Tiamat, well... I'm not a big fan of her, but more to the point there's pleny of room for overlap amongst portfolios.

I like them. Good additions to any list of deities, especially the default Greyhawk set.

Thanks. That's the set I was aiming for compatibility with, since it is, as you say, the default.
