Gods vs. Gods vs. Gods vs epics

I haven't read Deities & Demigods and I don't know if the system is good or bad, but talking with a friend some days ago he said that there was no rule to "replenish"" the slots of clerics around the god's avatar, which exists in Divine & Defeated. IMO it's a very good rule and sure there would be other such rules not reflected in the official Deities.

Do you think gods of the SL rewritten with official rules could have similar abilities? Maybe there are "divine feats" or something similar to give them such special abilities.

I'd, at the very least, give the gods all the Epic versions of items. He doesn't have a Belt of Giant Str +6, he has a Belf of Epic Giant Str +10 and such.

Just plus 10. I'd give him at least a +50 belt.

That's something I'm working out Warp. Believe me I'm keeping that rule, plus a few from Div&Def as well. I'm also elminating the energy immunities, except in a few cases, like Corean and Madriel who have Fire/Sun as their domains. Elemental related domains, I'll give one or two immunities, but not much else. I am keeping the immmunities to subdual damage, critical hits, and so on. But that's just so their avatars reflect the power of the Gods of Scarn.

I'm just going solley one the ELH with that. Likely, a god of strength would have such a powerful belt, intellegent, with the same intentions of its master (no ego conflict).

Also, fighting between gods would take place on levels we mortals couldn't understand; in ways we'd never consider.

And if it's beyond Orco's imagination, I don't want to know about it.
