A harm that's actually in line with the other 6th level death effect spells. completely broken. The overwhelming attractiveness of alt.rangers.Rangers that no one bothers to take more than one level of.
Fixed it for you. :p

The Auld Grump

Get the cheapskates to by a copy of the core rulebooks for themselves!

Olaf the Stout who is currently GM'ing a game for 4 players, none of whom own a single 3.5E book. :p

Also, be prepared for all-day buffs, magic items that give higher bonuses, super-sucky Psionics and inferior monks and superior rangers. I completely agree with the Auld Grump in that all you need is 3.0 and transfer in anything 3.5-ish from the SRD you might enjoy.

Personally, I've never fully made the transition to 3.5, but I've never found the need to, either.

I'm still in 3.2157 and I'm not raising that number any further until 4E comes out (I'll consider upgrading then, but not likely)!

For most gamers I'd recommend a 3.34 blend.

Yeah, when we run 3E, our group still plays 3.0 + house-rules, too. I guess 3.25 might be fairly accurate.

I stuck with 3.0, but took what I liked out of 3.5. That's where 3.2157 comes from. :)

Seeing as many of the changes are either ones my group had already made or ones I would never make, fully converting was nonsensical.

I would say get them to buy their own, and PHBs are always being fought over dureing character creation and such, so when you return theres more to go around.

Oh, and just incase your doing a maths course, D&D before an alegebra test can be fatal when Ds are used. :p
