What's that?;)

Hi, Merrick. :p

On topic, I love Golarion.

Last year I turned just about everybody on the Wizards Forgotten Realms Forum into Golarion Fans. I even coined Golarionlore at Candlekeep.:)

It's a solid setting and I'm pleased that they are ignoring the way WoTC has figured settings out to go (done in three).

NOw if that's still true 5+ years down the line... well that we'll see.

I hope they start doing some novels of the setting. Start off SMALL (not like Scarred Lands where the first triology brings back a dead god) or start off in the historical parts of the setting. Anthologies would be great for that.

Also, the events in the different regions of Golarion seem fairly contained to the region where they occur, as opposed to the Realms where many of the setting's major events are felt across the globe.
I find this to be one of its better points. Even the big six-issue adventure paths generally only affect a smallish area (sometimes even only one city) of Golarion. There is very little of the old 'save the entire world' plot type stuff to be found in the published Golarion adventures. Flubbing major plot lines might only ruin a country or a continent. I really like the feel that the world of Golarion is bigger than any single adventuring group.

Does anyone know if Golarion has an area with a feudal-Japan / Rokugan setting to it?

The continent of Tian-Xia includes the land of Minkai seems rather japanese, but there isn't that much information on the rest of the world at this time. Those continents will probably described more fully sooner or later, though.
