You had the correct approach on the thread that Tracy started about the BoVD, now closed.

My opinion is that the work in question is quite unlikely to give any luster to the D&D game name, quite the contrary. I fear it will in the end prove a disservice to the game and to all RPGers. Furthermore, I think it is exploitative. More than that? Nah. As most of the outraged rants against Tracy's original post did manage to get across, it's just a game. Some parts of a game are better left in the hands of the GMs, though, and thus unpublished...
