Also - It is only Melee powers that are affected by reach, regardless of the weapon keyword.

I think a "Close burst weapon" power would be really neat.

Warden's have an at-will power that says "Melee 2" for it's reach, if a Goliath Warden takes the Goliath paragon path and has his personal reach extended to 2 does that mean the power now has reach 3?

It (Thorn Strike) does not add to your reach, it simply makes a Melee attack with a range of 2.

Now, if your Goliath Warden uses the RPP along with Form of the Oak Sentinel and (don't ask me why) a Glaive, you can use any straight-up Melee power up to 4 squares away.

No.

But in my game I have a player who's warden uses a longspear, and I'm letting her reach 3 instead of 2. I don't think its overpowered in the specific context of my game, so I'm allowing it.

Hmmmmm. You gotta be a Martial class to MC with Spiked Chain. You need to be a Warden to get the +reach Form. So, only a Goliath Bard can pull it off?

Actually, the monthly compliation removed the martial requirement, dex 13 is all you need.
