Good adventure for level 6-8 PCs set in the desert

Looks promising, but it's no longer available to the public unless you shell out $75 to be a patron.

A patron of the current project. So what you're buying is the current adventure, a Nic Logue horror special, plus the option to buy into Six Arabian Nights. That book contains six adventures for levels 5-10. Of the lot, two take place in a city in the desert, and four take place in a desert setting.

A fun possibility that would require a little work would be to convert a 3E adventure that's not set in the desert to take place in the desert. That said, the I series is very good. I happen to have picked up a bunch of the old Al-Qadim boxed sets recently, and they have tons more adventures in them.

I'm looking for an adventure that is not too world-specific - set in a desert and for PCs in the level 6-8 range. This is for 3.5E

Any ideas?

And, is there a place I can search myself for something like this? Sort various adventures by level, and possibly by setting (desert vs jungle vs city vs dungeon-crawl vs etc) or anything else?

I haven't played it, but this sounds promising:

For levels 6-8 and set in a desert; exactly what you wanted.

If you like Goodman Games DCC adventures, they offer an 'adventure finder' on their site to help you choose: http://goodmangames.com/adventurefinder.php

I'm also very fond of both the old Lost City (B4 in TSR's catalog I think) and Desert of Desolation Series (don't remember the number/letter designation), but those are for earlier editions, so some work would be needed.

Best of all, of course, is to cook up your own adventure, made just for your players. Deserts make me think of hostile tribes, danger of death by dehydration and exposure, strange monsters, tombs guarded by mummies, etc.

I asked this same question a couple of weeks ago and people suggested Entombed with the Pharaohs. So I bought it on Ebay and I'm currently running it. We'll probably finish it in 1 or 2 more sessions. So far it's pretty fun. It has several scenarios that help spice up the game for both PCs & the DM.

I originally wanted to run I3: Pharaoh but I read almost the entire adventure and then just couldn't take it anymore and put it back on my shelf. It has what could be pretty cool dungeons that are quite large, but they are very empty. I don't care much for dungeons that have empty hallways and rooms all over the place with not even a trap in them. Empty areas here & there are fine, but when 70% of the dungeon is empty, traveling through it becomes boring.

I felt like I would need to populate a lot of areas myself or it would be boring telling the players "this room is also empty", or "there's nothing down this hallway either". Many of the areas that were populated were also pretty bad...things like a magic weapon just sitting in the middle of a hallway or room for no reason at all. I heard I4: Oasis of the White Palm is better, but I went with Entombed with the Pharaohs since I didn't want to take the chance of it only being considered good for nostalgic reasons.

Well, in all honesty, the spoon was pretty awesome but the Gnome was kinda lame :D
