Good Elven Defender

Hmm, Enworld's formatting really messed that up. Anyone know how to turn that off and clean that up? Edit: I'm not having much luck with that!

Did you copy-paste it from the Character Builder again? If you just edit it and put the code tags around it it won't help.

I tried to fix it up for you but my character builder won't have a bar of it:

Even trying to rebuild it I don't have your feat, your encounter and daily power or the gold to buy your listed equipment.

Anyone else?

I also second the guardian build with 16/13/16/8/16/10 spread

It is highly flexible, hits quite well with OAs and his daily (thanks to his racial) and can utilize a longbow for some ranged initiating and marking... (although you need a round to switch to sword and board)

from there you can decide to switch to a flail, a spear for ROB and you can decide to increase dexterity or wisdom... it is really flexible and you can even multiclass into ranger or seeker for some ranged powers etc...

It is a total pain to switch to using a shield. If you want to use a bow, don't use a shield. If you want to use a shield, use thrown weapons.

yes and you don´t get the benefit of the fighter weapon talent... ;) Trident and shield also sound more stylish...

I just thought about the bow to make good use of dexterity... but of course, you can punp wis and strength with a decent thrown weapon and dex 17 by epic is all you need...

so you may even go with a 16/11/15/8/18/10 build... and i see even nicer multiclass options here... (warpriest FTW)
