As I believe I have mentioned before, my wife became disabled while in the military a few years ago.
We found out almost two years ago, due to the severity of her disability, that she could be forgiven her student loan debts. So after many submissions of doctor letters and forms, again and again, it has finally received initial approval, and has been forwarded to the Federal Student Loan offices for final approval. Which, according to what we have been told, pretty much means that its approved.
So $12,000.00 of debt has been lifted off of our shoulders.
Our battle with the Veterans Administration has been re-energized.
Our spirits have been given a much needed lift.
I hope this also helps everyone else with fighting their own battles. It may take years, but don't give up.
