Good news for psionics fans

I'm ambivalent about this. On the one hand, I'm deeply pleased to see The Mind's Eye returning, but on the other hand, the description sounds like it's going to be rather neutered.
The old Mind's Eye articles focused on giving us new psionic crunch, though they still had a healthy amount of fluff in there also. It was great, since many of the articles were quite imaginative (such as expanded material on psionic tattoos). This new version sounds like it's just going to be about how to fit one or two new psionic powers or classes from splatbook X into your campaign...any useful crunch will be rare, and the fluff will be as ubiquitous as it will be flavorless.
Maybe I'm being unfair, since I haven't seen it yet, but this new Mind's Eye doesn't sound like the one I remember.
