Good online tools for campaigns?

I'm looking for a good online tool for organizing campaign notes, maps, etc. I want it to be online so that my players can access it (and so I'm not tied down to a particular computer). I would like for it to support authorizing access, so that I can put thing up ahead of time but only reveal them when appropriate.

I don't mind paying for it -- on the whole, I'd rather the tool provider had an incentive to keep improving it.

Somehow, I suspect there are folks here who can tell me what they like the best and why.

If you are looking for online, I'd say Obsidian Portal is a very good start.

You just missed the kickstarter for Realm Works which looks like it could answer a lot of questions. But if you can wait a few months, it might be worth looking at.

I've taken to using roll20.net + google communities for all my online D&D stuff. (Personally, I haven't had much luck with Obsidian Portal; it's been too slow and the interface hasn't been to my tastes.)

TBH, it does sound like Realm Works will be your ticket, if you can afford to wait for it.
