Good places to buy RPG materials online?

JesterPoet

First Post
Well, this isn't a great start. I'm not sure this is the best forum for this, but Marketplace didn't seem much better...

I'm sure this has been discussed before, but since I can't search, I can't really find it. Are there any places anyone recommends for buying RPG books online? Any places you've had great experiences?

And to avoid a flame war, please don't post about your bad experiences... I know some members here have stores and it won't help anyone to get into that kind of argument.

So... any suggestions? Also, it would be nice to know some places that carry a good supply of OOP stuff, or have really good prices!

edit: or if anyone has a link to a previous thread where this was discussed, that'd be great too!

You could always try the ENWorld RPG store. Here is the link:

ENWorld Store

I have bought several things from the store and have always been happy with the price and shipping time.

Always check buy.com before anywhere else- they get few rpg books, but they tend to offer 35-40% off. Sometimes they mess up and offer more (such as when I got the EpicPH for around $14).

They also offer free shipping.

You could also consider FRP Games at www.frpgames.com. They sponsor the ENWorld site.

There is also a button on the top right of the page that says "shop" that takes you to the same place. :)

(I've ordered a fair amount of stuff from there with no problem to date.)

Thanks for pointing that out. I never even noticed that before.

FRP Games is good.

For OOP stuff check www.titangames.com their ordering system is a bit archaic. They are out of detroit so in PA I usually get stuff pretty quickly from them.

Amazon is a descent place.

For OOP you can always check e-bay but you'll probably over pay there.

www.buy.com
www.alldirect.com

These places are dirt cheap. Their selection is limited, though. WotC, White Wolf/Sword and Sorcery, some other publishers. They carry very few very recent releases.

www.frpgames.com

FRPgames has good discounts as well. Their selection is much better, the best online that I know of, particularly for new releases.

www.amazon.com

Amazon is a good balance of having a good online selection have discounts on many (but not all) RPG products. YOu can also get used books via Amazon.
