I second this recommendation. The reviews are thorough, consistent and unbiased. I read reviews on EN World and RPG.net to get a general feel and more information, but the best reviews are at d20 Magazine Rack.

You can find them at d20zines.com

Is it just me or is it really difficult to find reviews on d20 Magazine Rack and RPG.net? It's not neatly organized like her on ENWorld or anywhere else. While I think the reviews on d20 Magazine Rack as very good, I find it frustrating to find anything there. Also, they don't review all that frequently, particularly for pdf products.

RPGNow reviews are also useful.

There is a search box in the upper-right. Just type in the name of the product you seek.

But you are correct, they don't do a lot of PDFs.

The pdf reviews are under the Fast Tracks section of the reviews. I woudl say that we've been doing more pdf reviews than print reviews as of late. But one of the reasons you don't see more pdf reviews than other stuff is that, in general, people don't seem to want to review pdfs. I assign them to my staff as they come in and the staff reviews what I assign unless that staff member decides to abruptly quit reviewing pdfs (which has happened more often than not).

If anyone would like to review pdf products for the site, just drop me an email and I'll hook you up. All I ask is that the reviews are fair, thorough, and consistently done on a timely basis (1-2 per week). :)

RPG.net is pretty much it. Gaming Report has them, but in many cases, they are just the reviewer re-writing the blurb on the back of the book. And personally, d20 zines reviews have never done too much to me - the format they use is too artificial and constraining (and cutesy), and they tend to never give bad reviews.

Well, to each his own. However, if you took the time to read some recent reviews there, you would see grades that are not always good. There have been grades of C and worse.

So, why do people perfer reviewing books to PDFs? Is it because they perfer to get free books over PDFs? PDFs are actaully a lot easier to review. Most of the time they are shorter, I mean really how many 5 page gaming books are there. THere are plenty of 5 page PDFs. :D
