I believe there's a specific magic weapon in the Magic Weapon section of the DMG called the Shatterspike that's especially useful when Sundering things.

Adamantine. Bypasses the first 10 points of hardness a weapon has.
I thought it ignores hardness less than 20. Has this been eratta'd?

But yeah, Adamantine is basically your sundering material of choice. Forget the weapon enhancements.

Though I suppose you could have a "Sundering" enhancement that works like the "Cleaving" ability... so you don't incur AoO's when you try to sunder if you don't have the feat.

Not as far as I know. As you say, adamantine is still the grandaddy of materials for and against sundering.

Actually, from the SRD:

Adamantine: This ultrahard metal adds to the quality of a weapon or suit of armor. Weapons fashioned from adamantine have a natural ability to bypass hardness when sundering weapons or attacking objects, ignoring hardness less than 20.
