Goodman Games joins with? (Your guess and mine!)

Well, Goodman Games made mention of joining up with one of the big players in the d20 industry over at GamingReport. http://www.gamingreport.com/article.php?sid=11331
Why would I guess Necromancer?

Both have adventuers with a back to 1st edition feel.

Both have worked with other partners. Necromancer with Sword and Sorcery Studio as well as Troll Lords, Goodman with EN World and others.

Both have worked with each other via EN World Player's Journal.

It'll be interesting to see what happens in '04. I'm looking forward to the release of Blackmoor as well mind you (another classic campaign setting for another tie in possibly?) as well as the revised Aerial Adventure Guide. The Unofficial Warrior Strategy Guide sounds interesting, but something I'll have to see first for more details on what it actually is.

Edited thread title as Necromancer, Mongoose and Mystic Eye have all chimed in that they are not the ones with the plan.

Goodman indicated that is was one of the industry's largest companies. Necromancer is a great publisher but I don't think it qualifies as one of the industry's largest companies.

I would think that one of the "largest" companies would at least have some full time employees. Fantasy Flight? Sword & Sorcery? Green Ronin? Mongoose?

I guess we'll find out soon enough.

Don't know what's happening but I do know that I plan on putting Blackmoor back into the Wilderlands where it was in the First Fantasy Campaign before TSR stuck it into Greyhawk/Mystra. :)

True. The reason I think that Necromancer could qualify as "largest" is because they fall under Sword & Sorcery's umbrella along with Malhavok.

Well i WAS thinking it would be Mongoose. Personally i would love to see a Necromancer/Goodman Games collaboratation because I like a lot of the work from both companies.

Why not Troll Lord games? TLG is publishing Castles&Crusades, a rules-light OGL game harkening back to the AD&D 1st edition ruleset. Joseph Goodman has expressed interest in publishing adventures which are compatible with 1st edition. TLG may not be huge, but it is big enough in d20Land.

Put two and two together. :D
