Well it's not:

Mongoose
Necromancer Games

Maybe Goodman will go under the Sword & Sorcery umbrella? Sounded like it was something else though from the press release.

I guess that leaves Green Ronin, Mystic Eye Games... I don't know of too many other publishers I'd consider big. I guess it's kinda of a vague term in the d20 industry...

The licenses point to another key for Green Ronin's 2004: partnerships. We made a deal in 2003 to publish books by the Game Mechanics, and that has been great for both companies. They have provided us with excellent books and have allowed us to develop a robust line of d20 Modern support. Don't be surprised to see us announcing more partnerships and licenses as the year goes by.

If it's not GR, then I'll guess Goodman is partnering with Sovereign Press.

Or GR is partnering with Sovereign.

After all, didn't Fast Forward and Sovereign just split?

(If I guess right, what do I win? :) )

Not us either...

My guess is Sword & Sorcery/White Wolf, as Goodman is located in GA near those guys, and Goodman's module style is similar to the Necro stuff they support.

Of course, following a location premise, GG could just as easily hook up with Holistic...but that doesn't seem as a good a fit.

Well, thanks to the process of elimination:

Not the following:

Green Ronin
Mongoose Publishing
Mystic Eye Games
Necromancer

I'm out of guesses. Between this, Green Ronin's and Mongoose's own 'secret' agrements and licenses in '04, I'm very anxious to see what's going on.

What about Fast Forward? They seem to think they are one of the industries leading publishers.

It would be a good fit, as it would improve the quality of FF releases.
