My girlfriend tried it with us this weekend in her 4E game. We're currently midway through the new Tomb of Horrors super adventure. It was a much better solution that Skype or Oovoo since the multipoint videoconferencing is free, rather than having to pay past 2 with Skype or past 3 with Oovoo.

We haven't found a great virtual whiteboard/tabletop yet, and we've tried a few, but we're definitely going to keep using Google+ hangouts for our multipoint videoconferencing. It actually looks like I'm going to be running Zeitgeist the same way.

I have some invites! So send me your gmail and I will give you some invite love.

Got that "uncool kid" feeling going, since I offered three days ago and nobody responded. Man! ;)

[Jedi Mind Trick ] You know you want to log google+ using on your iPad [/ Jedi Mind Trick] ;)

Oh and here's some incentive for all those who are reluctant to join but are afraid of Google owning your data (because Facebook/Microsoft totally don't via Bling/Skype/Facebook).

Doesn't that already happen.... WITH FACEBOOK?

I mean seriously.. back before I stopped using Facebook had one email address set up just for facebook announcements because I got tired of misc. notifications appearing in my main mailbox.

Then again there is an easier solution:

Turn off your notifications.

I'm actually really enjoying it so far. I just hope it doesn't go the way of Google Wave and goes out with a whimper. I'm liking the interface and the bells and whistles more than Facebook.

We're gonna try hangout this Thursday for gaming. I'm pretty exited how it works. We have been gaming audio only until now. Recommendation for a virtual tabletop would be MapTool (more fancy) or Gametable (pretty basic).

I'll take one! zachzachshuford.com
