Gp, Sp, Cp

I like those. One of these days I'm going to get $100 or so in dollar coins and pay for everything with them. Carry 'em in a leather sack, naturally. Maybe this Halloween.

I work at a car wash that hand dries at the exit, and it's a tip position. I get $2 bills all the time, and the $1 coins are just about as regular. I got a '45 steel penny once though, so that was cool. And a ten cent Euro coin from Belgium. But back to it, there is one guy who always tips two dollars, and in the $1 coins. Lots of Canadian coinage too, but it is upstate New York.

The US has dollar coins in circ too - they're rare, but I did get one in change just a few weeks ago. A big problem is that a lot of dumb bunnies out there think they're valuable for some reason and keep them whenever they turn up.

My college this semester put a change machine in the vending machine room. It gave out the gold dollars. Which doesn't help, because the change machines in the library don't take them, and you have to go to Chick-Fil-A to break any kind of bill now. GRRR.

The italian Euro coin is cool
two tone, and the inner circle has Leonardo da Vinci's "measures of man" on it, very nifty.

Still in circulation (kind of):

50 cent pieces with JFK (I still see them every now and again).

Silver Dollars with Eisnehower (Of the 'common' dollar coins, I see these the least).

'Gold' Dollar with Sacajewia (Americans hated it, I think it's out of production, because of...)

When I go to the US. Postal Service Stamp machine & get a couple of stamps it says: dollar coiins given out as change, and when I get dollar coins they are always....

Susan B. Anthony Silver Dollars (otherwise know as the &%$#@*@^%$@&#*#*#%@^$ dollar that looks like a quarter). They were intensly hated & I think they stopped minting them back in the 1970's. But, they still got so many around the Postal Service can put them in as change in Stamp Machines across the country).

The US. is still trying to come up with a Dollar Coin americans will tolerate. They haven't found it yet.

So Canada has adopted the gp/sp/cp monetary system. If I wanted to, I could also go down to the post office and get myself some platinum coins...

It becomes clear now that we need to go to Canada, kill them, and take their Stuff.

Yea, but the CR is really low. Plus with the NHL gone forever (I predict), they now have moral penalties to hit and saves.

What does Canada have anyway? Don't we get all their good stuff as it is :)

Just ask us nicely.

Like 80% of our economy, yeah.

Not to mention sports teams. Most recently are the Montreal Expos. RIP, mes amis.
