Grappling with natural attacks

Ok. I am trying to wrap my brain around this, so bear with me. If I have two claws and a bite attack because I am a lion, without considering Rake, how many attacks do I normally have? What penalties do I suffer to my attacks? Taking Rake into account, do I get any additional attacks? What about if my base attack is above +6?

Also, currently with Rake and a lion, it states that my attacks each do 1d4+2. Does the +2 increase if I have strength enhancement bonuses, like with Bear's Strength, do the attacks increase to 1d4+4?

I am just confused about natural attacks and grappling. Thanks gang.

Outside of grapple 3. Inside grapple; one or more based solely on BAB.

Using a weapon in grapple is -4, even a natural weapon.

Whatever rake says it gives you in the text.

Rake
A creature with this special attack gains extra natural attacks when it grapples its foe. Normally, a monster can attack with only one of its natural weapons while grappling, but a monster with the rake ability usually gains two additional claw attacks that it can use only against a grappled foe. Rake attacks are not subject to the usual -4 penalty for attacking with a natural weapon in a grapple.

A monster with the rake ability must begin its turn grappling to use its rake—it can’t begin a grapple and rake in the same turn.

What about if my base attack is above +6?

Yes,you would get additional grapple attacks, though natural weapons can't be combined with that.

I am just confused about natural attacks and grappling.
