Gray vs Jin Chi

graydoom

First Post
Very depressed and angry after his most recent loss, Gray wanders through the lands. Finding another fighter, he grows angry and immediately challenges that fighter to a match!

I find your niece to be cowardly, your fortress to be tattered, and your concentration to be impotent.

ooc: Open challenge. I want this to be a 2 flag speed strategy match (moves generated by the judge) regardless of who wins the insult becase I don't have much time (only about an hour or two) and I want this to be over quickly. Insults will still determine who posts first (winner of insults gets to post second).

The warrior Gray stumbles across is none other than Jin Chi.

He is surprised by the white belt's challenge, but accepts it nonetheless.

"I will fight you."

Jin Chi
The Path of Honor
Yellow Belt-D1

Signature Style: Blizzard
Dojo: Staff
Fists of Fury (x1)

Record: 1-4
Yen 3

As is the way of the warrior, he attempts the traditional insult.

"I find your Lord to be murderous, your time-honored playground to be sketchy, and your focus to be negligible."

[That sounds fine.]

I'll judge :)

A blue dragon settles down and prepairs to judge this contest.

Graydooms Insult is the better of the two, so he may post second, the match will be a 2 flag speed match, strat based with myself the judge posting the moves.

The ancient masters have decreed this match to take place at the ruins north-west of the Monastery of the Red Butterfly on the morning of the monkey.

Graydoom's hand.

1) The scorpion drops through the gate; avoids the chi of the ember!
2) The tiger strikes below the swamp; grasps the rolling of the orchid!
3) The fox wracks the wastelands; removes the assailment of the lightbeam!
4) The lotus blossum drops on top of the forest; quells the storm of the reptile!
5) The frog tracks close to the madlands; silences the foray of the clouds!

Jin Chi's hand.
1) The cherry blossum slays the desert; averts the kick of the reptile!
2) The fang bashes the coast; shields against the blood of the fell dagger!
3) The monkey spins by the island; fends off the beauty of the mist!
4) The stealthy panther drifts across the spring; dodges the violence of the shadow!
5) The lotus blossum strikes the well; dodges the blood of the fortress!

Taking advantage of the time of the match, Jin Chi launches into a spinning kick at Gray in the style of the Monkey.

3) The monkey spins by the island; fends off the beauty of the mist!

As Jin Chi launches into his attack, Gray strikes a sharp blow with the style of the Tiger, a natural predator of monkeys... and humans, for that matter.

2) The tiger strikes below the swamp; grasps the rolling of the orchid!

The dragon nods at both fighters

Good opening moves on both your parts. But Jin Chi's use of the day is too much to ingore.

He then blows out a ball of blue flame and sets it adrift on Jin Chi's side

Round 1:

Point Jin Chi, 1 Flag Jin Chi, 0 Flags Graydoom

Gray makes a wracking attack against Jin Chi!

3) The fox wracks the wastelands; removes the assailment of the lightbeam!

Jin Chi moves in quickly and elegantly in an attempt to end the match.

Calling upon the energy of the morning's flowers, Jin Chi launches a series of brutal strikes, maintaining an equally stalwart defense as well.

1) The cherry blossum slays the desert; averts the kick of the reptile!

FISTS OF FURY!

5) The lotus blossum strikes the well; dodges the blood of the fortress!

Despite the fury of Jin Chi's attack, this round goes to Graydoom.

The dragon breaths a second ball of flame, and sets it on Graydoom's side

Round 2:

Point Graydoom, 1 flag Jin Chi, 1 flag Graydoom
