Great Hero Showdown Round 6 (Voting Closed)

1. Indiana Jones vs Gandalf
Indy, because we know Gandalf has a weakness against whips :p

2. Batman vs Spider-Man
Both have some cool gadgets, both like putting on tights and swinging from the rooftops, both have lousy personal lives due to their intense sense of duty and both have guilt complexes related to the violent death of their father-figure.

But only one of them is certafiably crazy.... I gotta go with the crazy :]

Batman takes the spider.

Gandalf, come on we have seen how well he handles whips. The Balrog was even thirty times bigger, and flaming. Even if Indy gets the runs and desides to shoot, Gandalf will do some smack down action and it will be over before it starts.

Batman, this one is hard. It will be a close fight. In the end though I think that Spidey will keep running his mouth untill he finds a batarang in-between his teeth.

This competition has been based so far on many factors -

Do I know the character?
Is the character cooler than the other character?
Which would win in a one-on-one fight?

Honestly, the next round of these polls should put a more specific tone to the voting. But my ranting aside... :)

1. Gandalf over Indy. Love 'em both. Just in a Gandalfy-type mood I guess.
2. Spidey over Bats. Again, I enjoy both characters. The Dark Knight is awesome and would beat Spidey most of the time in a straight-up fight (especially after their first meeting) but the few victories will be sah-weet. Not to mention funny as heck.

Indy - Dumb luck wins every time.
Batman - Poor Spidey just wouldn't stand a chance. Even Supes has trouble against Bats.
