"Greater" Improved Initiative

Haves

First Post
I've been looking around for a "greater" improved initiative feat and I've found some that offer an additional +2(+6) and some that offer +4(+8). As for requirements, I've seen everything from alertness to lightning reflexes to stat requirements. Anyone care to offer their two cents as to what would make a balanced "Greater Improved Initiative" feat?
(a better feat name is welcome too) ;)

Epic Improved Initiative. :p

Otherwise, there is Blooded/Thug in PGtF and I think there's also one in Complete Adventurer.

Took me a bit to find...superior initiative...didn't think to look in epic. Guess that leaves the "+2 init. and +2 skill/+1 save" feats...there are A LOT of those (wizards apparently fell in love with the "(half of this feat + half of this feat)x20=new book or dragon article" formula awhile back :p ). Thanks!

I also like the Scorpion clan feat in Rokugan (or maybe in OA, I can't remember anymore) that gives the character an INT bonus to Initiative - added to other bonuses. I like it because it doesn't just crank up the initiative bonus by a flat amount, instead making the character slightly MAD (Multi-Ability Dependent) which helps decrease power gaming slightly, IMO.

For Wizards it would probably do the opposite, but otherwise you are right. :)
