Greatest Character Showdown Final Round Results!

Well, it's been a long and tough battle. 128 characters began, and now, there is only one. No, it's not the Highlander it's....











I know, the suspense is killing me too.

Indiana Jones, who beat Batman 20-16.

I'll post my thoughts about the contest tomorrow, but it was a blast to run and I hope all you had fun voting .

I gotta say, especially for a D&D message board, the best CHARACTER truly did win!

Indy's not as classic as Odysseus or Conan, nor as trendy as, say, the Captains- Jack Sparrow or Malcolm Reynolds but, for my money, he's certainly the heart ("Kali-ma, kali-ma!") of what D&D is about.

I voted for Bats myself, but I'm well pleased that Indy beat him out anyway. Definitely the better character!

bahhhhh. Man this didn't draw the number of particpants it did last year. I think the forums being taken off the front page added to the wrong man winning. Now i must start my indy must die t shirt.

You have to admit, if this battle was mapped out as a fight it would have been interesting if not painful to watch. Pretty much the fight would have ended because of luck or Indy making a cleaver decision which lead towards him suceeding at the end.

In true indiana Jones fashion it would have included Indy loosing his hat at the begining of the fight, Indy drawing a gun, only to have it to be knocked out of his hands by Batman who dominated the entire fight.

The fights conclusion would have to involve: 1) Batman getting shot or knocked by Indy or 2) Batman Falling to his death or 3) Batman getting crushed or decapitated by scenery OR 4) Batman getting killed by the wraith of god, or other supernatural means OR 5) Indy and Batman join forces against a greater evil (ie. the Nazis)

The fight also would ONLY be concluded once Indiana lifts up his hat, brushes it off, then places it on his head and adjusts it.
