The d20 Freeport Companion is releasing in PDF form this week, with the print version to follow next month. This is our last scheduled release for the 3.5 rules, so if you are a fan of that edition this is a good time to represent.

No more 3.5 stuff? Does this mean they're going to be doing 4e stuff in addition to the other things they got going on?

Not sure. I don't think they've announced for sure that they're going to do 4th edition products, though I wouldn't be completely surprised if they either (A) don't have any more Freeport products planned until after the release of 4E, or (B) they're considering making all future Freeport products True20 only. Granted, I think A is more likely than B.

OR, it could mean they're devoting all their d20 efforts into True20-based products from here on (Mutants and Masterminds, True 20, etc.)

I would be very surprised if Pirates Guide to Freeport didn't have a 4e book. Same goes for any future Freeport stuff. I'll honestly be surprised if we don't see something like Bleeding Edge for 4e.

I agree. I think it would be a loss for them to not cash in on that

We haven't decided yet. Step one is getting a chance to review the new Open Game License and seeing if we're comfortable publishing material under those terms. We've signed a NDA and are just waiting for WotC to produce the document.
