Good choice of preview! I was rather hesitant to see a noble class, let alone a noble handbook make any sense in a D&D party, just these few pages give me a whole new perspective.

I can only say that it looks good and i'm eagerly awaiting it's arrival...

The Noble's Handbook has already shipped to distributors and should be stores at the end of this week.

Barring a tornado, correct? ;)

Thank you for the preview. Such a thing to glance over always helps the wait. Maybe, we can see one for another product coming out soon.....set in Freeport maybe????

Thanks! I figured the noble house section would make for a better preview than yet another prestige class.

Well, Black Sails Over Freeport is an adventure, so it's harder to find preview material. You don't want to give anything away, after all. I'll see what I can do.

Any chance this will go PDF? I'm hoping to keep my collection under five boxes, at least within the next two or three years...

It's possible, but it wouldn't be for some time. Generally, we're only going to make available as PDFs things that have fallen out of print.

elforcelf: At one point, I had over 28 boxes of RPG material, a total of over 1,100 items. (Admittedly, over 300 of those were Dragons, Dungeons, Polyhedrons, and other magazines...)

Now, instead of buying OOP TSR stuff, I buy ESDs from svgames and rpgnow. I own 203 of them, so far. (Okay, about 30 of them are free from WOTC, but still...) And I've identified another 115 I want to get, when I get the chance. (Plus, I own 2 items I'll dump as soon as they make ESD.)

It's much easier taking care of 5GB of PDFs than 20 boxes of OOP and very heavy books. :)

Pramas: Have you ever read Brother Initiate/Gatherer of Clouds? Or Feist's Kelewan trilogy? How closely can one model those settings, the Great Game of Houses?

Is it set up only for noble houses? Can it work for other stuff? For instance, merchant houses (a la Dark Sun)? Or criminal organizations (Westgate, for instance)?
