Green Ronin's Book of the Righteous: any fans?

I have so many 3E books, I don't always remember the gems. I had a look in this one to remember my impression of it, and now I'm definitely going to be using it again. Thanks for bringing it to my attention.

I too love this book, it is the most informative pantheon D&D book out there. Totally leaves the official 3.x edition gods book in the dust.

I thought it was a good book. I just would have liked to have seen clerics of various deities get the same treatment as the holy warriors.

It's not often that a RPG book (or, come to that, *any* book) presents its own take on something, and does it well, but also - in effect - says: 'You can too. Here's how.' Uncommon generosity indeed.

Full marks. Heh, well nearly. Thinking on it a little more, Greg K has a good point there. But never mind.

I've been hearing people talk about this book for ages. I just picked it up along with Thieves World from Paizo. Looking forward to reading them.

If I ever homebrew a standard fantasy world, this is my pantheon. Incredible.

If they converted this to 4e I'd slap down the money again in a heartbeat, even if 90& of the text could remain unchanged.

Ideally, though, I'd like to see a slightly larger revamp with the 4e cosmology built in.

It is a great book. A little after it came out the author (or maybe it was Pramas) wrote a great post on EN World of how it came to be and the trust Green Ronin had in him to write it.

So, how many folks here have a copy of Green Ronin's Book of the Righteous?

It's quite simply my favorite Third Party product of the 3rd Era of D&D; a comprehensive, fully realized pantheon and cosmology ready-to-use for any campaign.

It could also easily be updated to 4th edition, since all the Churches had both Clerical orders as well as Holy Warrior orders, which could easily translate to Clerics and Paladins.

I just bought the book myself for campaign research. It's only $5.00 from Paizo. I think I still paid less than $11.00, even with shipping.
