Greyhawk and Faerun on the same planet?

At least, that's what I read on the Wizards site some time back. But to be honest, I can't remember whether that was a joke or not, but it seems like one to me. Anyone know for sure? Thanks.

The only obstacle would be that they're officially in two different planar cosmologies. But if you want them to be on the same planet, go for it.

They didn't used to. I don't like the new cosmology for FR. I like the manual of the planes.

It was an April Fools' joke.

For what it's worth, in my Greyhawk campaign FR is an alternate Prime Material Plane accessible through the Plane of Shadows (as per the suggestion in MotP). I occasionally throw an FR NPC or reference in, in spite of the fact that I'm staunchly pro-greyhawk. I guess it just seems right to me that both settings co-exist in someway.

Well, they are connected through the Deep Shadow, and people are getting through every once in a while. That's why Realmsian wizards cast Mordenkainen's spells.
