... Having recently taken another look at the book, I agree with you that that's a tenuous link. I can't see anything concrete in the book that places it in Greyhawk, beyond the fact that it was based on The Ghost Tower of Inverness.
I can't even begin to tell you how long I have stared at that little novel on my shelf thinking I'd missed something in going through it, and yet could never bring myself to scouring word for word through the entire work. I'd read it through, years ago when I bought it on eBay ... but, TBH, it was kind of a speed-read.
Whether it was then or now, it's good to have someone else confirm that I'm not bonkers! LOLOL
