I'm curious about source material of City of Greyhawk itself, or Dyvers or any other large city. I really don't have much, unfortunately. What is good?

Unfortunatley, the City of Greyhawk boxe set is not available as an ESD yet, as I understand. Is that worth tracking down? What about the Falcon series of modules? What info on Greyhawk do they provide (maps, NPCs, etc). Are there any other sources?

The City of Greyhawk box is the most comprehensive but some of the info is updated in From the Ashes and The Adventure Begins. It includes two books (either 96 or 128 pages each, iirc). One details the city itself and one details the people in it. It also includes four poster maps (the city, the sewers, the area around, and a bird's eye view poster).

The Falcon series is okay. The main thing that they contribute is the fold-up buildings which will lose something in the translation to ESD. There's some info about a the Temple of St Cuthbert, the manor house of a major NPC and a cult that plagues the city (and is the subject of the adventures).

Until 2e Vecna wasn't a god as far as I know, he isn't listed as a god in the 1983 set. I prefer him as the myth that parents tell thier children to scare them into doing their chores. His hand and eye are rumored in legend to be floating around, but that's only rumor, etc.
