Grim Adventures of Billy & Mandy

I don't know if it was new, but I just saw a great Grim Adventures of Billy and Mandy!

Billy basically transported himself to Asgard using static electricity. Grim and Mandy planeshifted all over and eventually found him kicking Asgard with Thor's hammer (which he stole) while Thor and Odin hid under a table...so they left him there. It has a Conan-on-the-throne ending. Great episode, highly recommended to the planewalkers out there.

OMG!!!1 :p

I watch it on occasion. I'd really like to see the pilot, if one exists, so I can figure out the whole deal between Billy, Mandy and Death.

wycen, it does. :)

i have seen the asgard one. some of my favorites include the first Eris episode (discordians should love that one), and the one with the giant brain eating space monster (makes me want to dance, it does!)

I've been following this toon since Cartoon Network aired four new cartoons and had people vote for which should be kept. I actually liked one of those four better, but it disappeared mysteriously.

The back story is laid out in the first episode, and the art was a lot more stylized. (SPOILER) Mandy's hamster died, and when Grim came to harvest his soul, Mandy challenged him to a game. She obviously bested him and got one request. She requested that he be their best friend forever.

This actually makes the show make more sense. I laugh at the Fairly Odd Parents as well, but that's another show that doesn't make much sense.

Yes, and the best part about the Conan closing is that it's even Mako doing the narration, just like in Conan the Barbarian. I think Patrick Stewart provided the voice of Odin, too.

I *love* Billy & Mandy. They had another episode that included a hysterical send-up of "God Emperor of Dune". And a combined Harry Potter/Animal House parody, complete with John Vernon providing the voice of Dean Toadblatt. I run around the house now chanting "Lord Moldybutt, Lord Moldybutt" for my own amusement.

Yes, I'm weird. :p

Close. It was Billy's (not quite dead) hamster. Mandy came over to see Mr Snuggles (celebrating his like 30th birthday). Grim took them to Limbo to have a er... limbo contest. He almost won until Mandy said "Kiss kiss", sending Mr Snuggles into a frenzy. The now berserk hamster attacked Grim, causing him to fall and knock over the stick thus losing the wager.
