[Grim Tales] Campaign websites?

Starting my sword-and-planet campaign...

ragboy,

I'm still running a v3.5 campaign while I get the specifics worked out on the Grim Tales sword & planet campaign. I intend to wrap up the v3.5 campaign by early next year. Thus, the Grim Tales campaign will officially start probably shortly after Spring Break. (Unless, of course, a catastrophe results in a TPK, but I try hard to avoid that. ;) )

Please contact me privately, and I'll add you to my list of interested gamers for when I start organizing the gaming group for this one.

Sorry for the wait,
Flynn

Oh, I see...I guess I gave the exact opposite of what you were looking for, my bad! Like I said, my site isn't done (or really even very near presentable) yet, but I think I may open the site before I do a 'grand opening' (IE, before it's really done).

I'll post back in here when I have something I can show you!

Thanks, Kirin'Tor!

I'm looking forward to it,
Flynn

Maybe he means you have to choose how deadly you want to make some of the rules. Just a guess though.

That's exactly what I mean. :) The sections work together very well, at least in the read-through, but there are variants (such as around Action Points and combat), and the various skull selections, that tend to complicate things when you talk about a Grim Tales game. Do you mean a one-skull, two-skull, three-skull or mixed GT game? It can get confusing to the uninitiated...

Hope I didn't add too much confusion there with perhaps the wrong choice of words,
Flynn

Wulf has suppied the answer to you I think. Somewhere in the later chapters (I don't have my book with me) is a "cheat sheet" Campaign planner. On there you can check off I will be using this level for horror checks, I will be using this level for action points, I will be using the FDH variant for combat. The setting is Archaic or Future, etc. etc. That at the least will I think give you a start. You can hand that to your players (and help keep track yourself) of what the game options are.

Edit: That'd be page 186, The Campaign Planner for those following along at home

I could suppy a PDF today... As the Campaign Planner is only one column, is there anything else on a single sheet planner that would be useful in the other column?

Some thoughts on a single sheet planner...

I can only point to Angrumainyu's excellent reference sheets for 3E and suggest that perhaps therein might lie some inspiration.

A section to briefly list House Rules may also be a good idea.

Hope this helps, Wulf,
Flynn
