[Grim Tales] Interstel Captain's Guide to Alien Lifeforms

Here's a link to the Bad Axe Games section at RPGNow. RPGNow is an excellent source for PDF products from a ton of different publishers. A very dangerous place, as it is all too easy to pick up 8 or 10 things that are only a few bucks a pop, and then have heart failure when you go to checkout.

Rodrigo--

I certainly appreciate the link.

And I know Morrus would appreciate it if you would append, &Src=EnWorld to the end of it, like this:

My review of the GT Alien Lifeforms is up on Silven's site...

Thanks for the review, Paul.

I admit I'm still new to the usual user-issues of PDF, so I'll be more careful with black sidebars. (I suppose I also assumed most people would be using this thing almost exclusively electronically, due to the spreadsheet.)

One last thing: It is very cool that you "Got It" on every level. Your review read like a peek inside my head while I was writing.

It wasn't a huge deal, but I personally hate to use a computer at the gaming table. It's kind of a trade off of the utility of having the computer there and the distraction it inevitably causes. Personal preference, but one I've noticed is shared.

Dude! That was a pretty fun mini(micro?)-game. When I first read it, I didn't 'Get it.' I got the utility of GM computer-aids... I lean on them heavily for practically every game I play. The campaign material was interesting, but didn't sink in until my kids were flying across the surface of Devona bagging Wooly Ice Spiders and whatnot. Great job!

Anyway, I have all of your PDF's and GT, and I plan to review them, but I'm trying to find some other products to review in between so I don't sound like BadAxe's raving fanboy.

Please tell me you saved the Grey Squamous Gulper for posterity. The fact that it's squamous also tells me it had a natural armor bonus-- you forgot to mention that! The immunities! The horror! What a great critter! It burrows, scents you out, and gulps you down! The man-eating plant from hell, baby.

I don't see anything wrong with that. ;)

Hey, bud. I went to re-download the Captain's guide (my computer took a total dive), and when I had RPGNow resend me the link it sent me Grim Tales: Gamemastering.
Now... I've never bought that product (so I deleted it), you might want to see about that link.
Free product is always cool... but only when it's honestly given. :)

Hmm... Thanks for the heads up.

If you requested the re-link from RPGnow, they provide that link, automated from their servers-- it's not something I can set. Their mistake.

Anyhow-- Pull that Gamemastering PDF out of your trash, it's good stuff.

Well, if I've got your permission, then I'll download it again.

As for the Interstel thing... guess I should e-mail RPGNow's customer service... because it shows up on my history as the GameMastering, as well.

Thanks, Wulf.
