[Grim Tales] Skilz Questions

I like the system, but we're honestly finding it sort of limiting. There's alot of things people like doing, and even with more skill points, there's NEVER enough skill points to go around.

Based on player requests I've added a "new core skill every 4 levels" rule to our game. Just to give them a little carrot. In case they discover a critical skill they just HAVE to have for the game. My players loved it. Honestly, I'm thinking of revising it to every 3rd level, at least for the game I'm running. And adding a feat for more skill points. The specific game is so weighted to skills that people are taking Smart levels left and right just to beef up their skills, and it still isn't enough.

I think I prefer a mish-mash pish-posh for computer use skills. How often I've seen Modern characters with ridonkulously high Computer Use ratings that can, apparently, do everything with that one skill and a laptop. I'm waiting for it to replace Hide and Move Silently.

EDIT: But, on the other hand, I like Open Lock and Disable Device getting folded together, especially in modernish games. There's only so many skill points to go around and having to pump two skills that are usually used at nearly the same time. So often, in modern games, breaking and entering is mission critical.
