Grumble Grumble.

Don't worry, we'll hang out and have fun without them. We'll roast marshmallows, sing campfire songs, and have pillow fights.

Lots of pillow fights.

Stinky is right. Last year I worked Gencon for a publisher and when they open up for booth setup they don't have the AC on yet. So, picture about 1k (maybe more) people running back and forth across the conventions center to the parking lot unloading stuff in 85-90 heat with no AC inside. Then add to that the 2/3 of us are overweight and/or out of shape. You only get 1hr to unload all your stuff before the parking people kick you out.

So the place already has a funk going before the doors even open. :D

Pillow fights? Great! I'll go sew some razor blades into my pillows. :] ;)

If you teach me Munchkin I'll play. :)

As for me... hmmm, I have Kingmaker laying around... but I haven't played it since high school. I recall there being a website where you could play boardgames online (any boardgame, including miniature based games) but I can't find the link at the moment.

edit: Ahh, see what lunchtime google-fu practice does for you. Here is Vassal, a way to play boardgames over the internet.

Dang, and I have a -4 modifier to save against pillows.

:(

As much fun as Munchkin, Bang! and others sound, they will all have to step aside for the return of the ever-glorious Crossbows and Catapults (now called Battleground: Crossbows and Catapults for some inexplicable reason)!

Actually, a pillow fight sounds pretty good too. Although maybe just because I am picturing all the film treatments of pillow fights over the years. Mmmm, sorority girls . . .

Do you have links? Would they be safe for work? If not, could you send them to me? ;)

Should we organize an "I'm not at GEN CON Either" online chat party, perhaps while the ENnies are being held (and broadcast on the Net?).
