Nobody knows yet where it'll be set. London is the only GTA city not yet used since GTA3. A lot of people think it'll be New York or Liberty City again.

I think they should try a non-US city, wouldn't be surprised if theywere afraid to though.

They're not afraid to - they've done London before, and that was pretty successful. And they're Scottish.

You know if it became GTA4 - Mob Boss of the World
allowing you to fly all over the world with all the major cities.
Well then I might just go out and buy a PS3 for that. Course I'm happy right now with my PS2s and GameCube.

Well the Scottish thing trashes that idea, I was only aware of Rockstars US groups.

Rockstar North Limited (formerly DMA Design Limited) is a Scottish developer of computer and video games founded by David Jones in Dundee and presently located in Leith Street, Edinburgh, Scotland. The company is a part of Rockstar Games which is owned by Take Two Interactive. It is the primary developer of the Grand Theft Auto series, including Grand Theft Auto III, Grand Theft Auto: Vice City, and Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas, which are three of the best-selling games on sixth-generation consoles; in its earlier guise as DMA, it was responsible for originating the monumentally successful Lemmings franchise.

The GTA games are a humourous UK viewpoint on American stereotypes. They've said as much many times. Exaggerated, of course, and all stereotypes.

Yeah, this has been known for some time, as was the fact that it will be released on both the PS3 and Xbox 360 at the same time. The actual release dates are new.

Cool stuff - the GTA games rock.

Yeah, the London game was a blast. The streets on the map were straight enough to haul-ass through town without wiping yourself across a building most of the time.

It's not enough for me to get a PS3, though. I barely have time to play through my PS2 and PC games. Another console and I might as well quit my job.
