Guardians Of Order's New Year's Message

Yes, no doubt Ex Machina is one of the best (if not the best) Cyberpunk game on the market. I've got a small group (4) of Tri-Stat Ex Macnina players now. However, d20 Ex Machina will be off the scales! Not only am I looking forward to it intensly, but I think I will have at least 8-15 players lined up for the d20 version. The buzz is so good in fact, that a few people have already tried to place pre-orders for it!

Ex Machina caught so much attention at the FLGS that I now see more GoO stuff there then I ever have before!

Keep up the good work GoO, and best of success in 2005.

Tough times indeed! Fiery Dragon, based in Toronto, has also felt the exchange rate pain.

While we've never posted this or discussed it outside of our circle, the FDP fellas have always looked up to Mark and the Guardians of Order team as an example of what we hope to become, with regard to quality and position in the industry. Somehow, knowing that this awesome RPG company existed just down the street (well, just down the 401...) always helped us believe that anything was possible (as we sat stuffing tin containers into the shrinkwrapper at 3:00 AM...)

Hang in there, Mark, and all of our best wishes for an awesome 2005. We'll be weathering this storm together, but I'm hoping that everyone will come out stronger at the end of this telling year.

Where's the colaborative product that takes SAS Tri-Stat and M&M stats for the Atomic City? Where's the SAS Counters? More great products that work great together!

Thanks, James. There aren't many of us Canucks publishing in the industry, but it's good to have such worthy neighbours. I hope the exchange doesn't impact you too much.

Tekumel d20

While I want a copy of Ex Machina d20, truly it is second on my list. The first being, of course Tekumel d20. I have waited for it for all those years since Joe promised that it was coming. I may not even wait, and try to learn Tri-stat just to get ahold of the book. Yes, yes, yes.

Anyone who doesn't buy it is nakome. Get out of the bland d20 pseudomedieval or psuedo-oriental mode and try a world that even after 30 years is still original.

To the greater glory of the Petal Throne.
