A plane ticket from Southampton to Indianapolis for a start! A quick search locates flights for £600-£700, which is $850-$1000 in your funny money at today's exchange rate. Plus, if I were to go, I'd have to bring Sharon with me, so you're looking at about $2000 total.

Then, on top of that, you're looking at 4 days' hotel accomodation for the two of us and, of course, Gen Con badges.

Sounds like good deal to me!

I will be there to help you put up a Swarovski Plumbing and Sewage sign over a boarded up storefront (we have plenty in the USA right now) and to join in the chorus of shrugging as you explain that as long as you are there, you might as well enjoy the convention.
