For the five players in my Spycraft Game:
"Operation: Fly Ball" is under way. Mission Control will shortly (in approximately thirty days' time) be preparing you with briefings concerning your objectives and targets. In the meantime, the following five team members have been selected for this mission:
Danny Sarli, Codename: Rook. Sarli is a master of eight languages, a man of a veritable “thousand faces” and skilled at Impersonation, Infiltration, Interrogation, and has the skills of a Las Vegas con-man, to boot. Sarli is a Faceman, a class specialized in infiltration and info gathering. These can be vital to success in the world of Spycraft.
Dana Fawkes, Codename: Voyeur. Fawkes, a British National originally, graduated in the top ten of his class from MIT. He is an expert in Computer Tech, Electronics, and Surveilance, and holds Masters degrees in Business, Forensic Science, Munitions, and Law. He serves as the team’s “eye in the sky”, coordinating their efforts and enhancing their performance with the knowledge he provides. Don't let the description fool you: The "Pointman" in Spycraft is a class with a lot to do, and part of his skills are centered around checks that either assist or are used in place of checks by fellow spies.
Chandi Kallianpur, Codename: Bengal. Kallianpur is an unarmed assassination specialist, combining multiple styles into a deadly style of her own. She is skilled at unarmed and armed combat, infiltration, and gymnastics. I came up with Bengal to show off some of the more fun aspects of the martial arts feats from Spycraft. She's not optimized for deadliness, so much as optimized for fun.
Tracy Stoner, Codename: Lock. Stoner was trained in the U.S. Military in infantry and sniper techniques. He is skilled with demolitions, but his main field is sharpshooting, and close-range fire support. Lock is yet another way for a soldier to go: The ranged weapon path. The Ranged Combat feats in Spycraft can make a gun expert a wonder to behold.
Jason Blacktree, Codename: Hellbat. Blacktree is a former amateur drag racer, who is among the top 10 drivers in the Agency. He is proficient in most Watercraft and Aircraft, with special emphasis on “hot” entry and departure in wheeled and tracked vehicles. He is also quite accomplished with firearms training and can serve as backup infantry support. Hellbat is a "Wheelman" - he is the one who treats flying down a one-lane street at 100 mph like a drive in the park. He's also decent at surveilance and at fire support in a pinch.
Agents will be prepped and ready at the appointed time. Thank you, and dismissed.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
Hellbat has so far been reserved for Templetroll (unless he changes his mind), since he expressed interest in the hair-raising life of a driver. Please let me know who you want to play, and I'll mark you as playing that PC. Hopefully, I've designed all of them to play an important part, and the adventure should have as much of the flavor of Spycraft as I can pack into four hours. The actual character sheets will be provided at gameday. Any questions, please let me know!
All right, so far:
Templetroll - Hellbat
Cthulhu's Librarian - Bengal
Rel - Lock
Klyre - Rook
John Potter - Voyeur
