Not a problem, guys. I already caught the table number problem. And, as always, I'm still slowly making progress with the whole thing...

My problem wasn't really with the fact that there are less children during war than during time of peace but with the chance to have a boy or a girl, which you adress here

After the war: somehow (probably because of pheromones and a desire to have sex with the returned combatants) pregnancy increases often after a war (and somehow more male children are born than normally).

True that there are more children born after a war than before (look at the baby boom after WWII), but I didn't know more boys than girls were born then. Anyways, it balances out since the original guide gave a 52% chance of having a girl and a 48% chance of having a guy. In the d20 version, there is a 55% chance of having a girl and 45% chance of having a boy in peace time, so raising the chance to have a boy in war time balances things a little. Maybe you could say that this change in the probability remain for a given number of years after the war too, since that's what you said in your answer to my post, whereas the netbook says only during wartime...
