Guybrush Threepwood, migthy ... er, rogue? fighter?

Suppose I want to 'do' a d20 Monkey Island campaign?

Any idea what our 'hero's' stats would be? The villain? The missus? Murray, the all-powerful demonic skull?

The Dainty Lady or Sea Cucumber are easy with the vehicle rules in Dragon #294, but the rest....

I think Guybrush is pretty clearly a low wisdom, medium-high-charisma rogue/fighter. He has a feat that allows him to use his charisma bonus (or maybe the difference between opposed performance:insult skill checks) instead of his strength when fighting with his rapier. And don't forget his pockets of holding!

Governor Elaine Marley is an expert/rogue.

LeChuck is a powerful Dread Pirate with either a ghost, a zombie, or a death knight template slapped on him (depending on the episode.)

I'd have to agree with PC, Threepwood probably would have a high Charisma (if nothing else to represent the luck he had to have JUST what he needed to escape every problem). I'd also think that he'd have a high inteligence, making him a prime canidate for the Swashbuckler Prestige Class. I hope that I have the mental clarity when digesting in a snake to be able to make syrup of ipecac (sp?)

Morray the Talking Demonic Skull I'd say is a cursed artifact... you can never get rid of him ;)

There was once a game from Avalon Hill, Called Tales from the Flating Vagabond, that would have been the perfect home for a character like Guybrush Threepwood.

Guybrush - I really can't even see him as a rogue or a fighter. I CAN see him as a Commoner, or maybe even an Expert, with an insanely high Charisma score, and an insanely low wisdom score.

Thanks, all. I haven't been able to find Swashbuckling Adventures from AEG yet, but does anyone who does have it think it'd be a good resource? I personally think the Port duck campaign setting from Discworld Also would be apropriate, but I'm not used to GURPS.

Guybrush is the MAN!

Rogue works for me, possibly some Fighter levels. He'd need a pretty high Con score, seeing as he can hold his breath, what, five minutes? That would probably be a special feat, as well as high Con.

Actualy, I think Guybrush is just a commoner or expert, for at least the first two games... He gets some rogue levels later on, maybe.
