Gwendilyn, 7th level character (title change)

First Post
Back in 2000, when 3rd edition first came out, I saw many, many threads on ENWorld regarding the (then considered outlandish, absurd, munchkin, overpowered, or whatever you wish to call it) min/maxed characters you could create using the 3rd edition rules.
Everyone was still in a 2nd edition mindset back then, and 3rd Edition System Shock was occurring to everyone (as it is now occurring to me, since I'm 5 years late to the table.)

At that time, what I read did not make any sense. I did not learn 3rd Edition, so I could not puzzle out the numbers or the terminology.
Now I can. I've read enough 3.5 books to do so.

So I am asking if some of you would care to show examples of min/maxed characters, using the 3.5 rules.
Use any of the 3.5 supplements, or 3.0 supplements that have not been updated yet, or any of the d20 supplements (updated or not.)
Whatever supplement you use, though, list it. I can access the SRD, but I do not know what all the supplements, WOTC and otherwise, are!

If you wish to post epic characters of any level above 21st, do so. But I would expect those characters to be extremely powerful. Show me something astonishing! :)

Also, as an aside, did Upper Krust ever finish the Immortal's Handbook? If yes, is it for sale? If yes, how does one buy it?

UK officially released the Epic Bestiary this week. He is still working on apotheosis and other supplments.

As for min/maxed characters, look for some of the smackdown threads on the wotc boards. I know there are other examples here as well. You might check the rogues gallery to see if you can find any of the absurd combinations.

Well, there's min/maxed characters (ones who are as effective as possible while staying within the letter and the spirit of the rules) and there's broken characters (ones who exploit loopholes in the rules).

Pun pun is a broken character.

I'd give you some examples but I fear my min/maxing skills aren't the greatest.

Just at the most basic level: Human Rogue1/Fighter2. Start as rogue. With even a 12 Int, that gives you 40 skill points at first level. You max out 10 skills, and get two feats (1 for human, 1 for first level). Your next level is Fighter. You now have access to all arms and armors, plus one more feat (fighter bonus feat). Next level is fighter. Two more feats (1 for 3rd level, 1 Fighter bonus feat). Now I'm a third level character with 5 feats and all I've lost is one point of BAB. I can continue as fighter and maybe pick up a couple more rogue levels here and there, but I have several skills that fighters don't normally get, at levels that would take a pure fighter most of his career to get.

On old one in 3.0 was to take one level of ranger, at at time. That got you a couple feats plus the two weapon no penalty fighting.

To be anal about it, you've also lost 4 hp and your base Will save is still +0.

You've also gained +2 to your base Reflex save and Trapfinding. And, you know, Sneak Attack +1d6. Not that a Fighter would care about that. ;)

Pun Pun.

That's all that needs to be said.

I keep hearing about this Pun Pun character. Where is it posted? Can I search the Wizards forums, because if you can, I must be blind and don't see it.

I read about Flaws (Drawbacks?) in Unearthed Arcana. Your character could actually have 7 Feats.
That's a lot of Feats, for a 3rd level character!

The idea of starting as a Rogue, with the bonus skill points, seems like a good one. But you must survive to 2nd level to take advantage of it! :)
