Gygax euphemisms

I was googling around a bit and I found this .

It's either funny or disrespectful to the memory of mr Gygax.

That wasn't what I expected.

I expected more generic phrases that EGG would have used.

1) Any sentence with 'dweomercraft' in it.
2) 'Setting the milieu'
3) 'They used their expert player skills'

How about other people's impressions?

I agree. If the initial paragraph was an attempt at humour it failed in my opinion. The list was relatively funny though.

BTW, in my Greyhawk campaign, Mordy etc. live on.

I had a player who died and his characters lives on asn NPC far far away . . . somehow, that seems comforting.
