I hope his reasons for refusing the Angioplasty were good ones, because that is a really effective, really easy process.

Well, when my mother had congestive heart failure, they wanted to do an Angioplasty, but she refused, because the hospital she was at did not have the capability to do open heart surgery, so they would have had to do the procedure AGAIN at another hospitalif anything showed up. So there ARE reasons to refuse it.

Yeah, but it isn't necessarily a comfortable one, depending on the doctor and the degree needed. The recovery from it can be pretty unpleasant for a few days, among other things. That said, I hope he knows what he's doing...while it isn't pleasant, it's far more pleasant the open-heart surgery or another heart attack or stroke.
