I am most flattered I met Kirby and know Stan from dealing with Marvel for the D&D Cartoon Show. It is great that Stan has achieved such success with the X-Men film--long past due!

Well I always felt Kirby was under rated in contribution, while stan may be the flashy one, and still alive, Kirby was the foundation. IMNSHO

Jack and Stan have (had, sadly in the case of Kirby) different personality types certainly. Stan Lee is more outgoing, and Marvel had him as a "face" for a long time, all the while keeping him in a box, so to speak. Personally, I am glad that he got out of that and has made the big-time grade with the X-MEN film
