LOL :SNIPPITY

Hey, can you tell us what this HARP rpg game is about? Learning to play like a bard? Or what? Before I am trying to give you my arguments for why you should send the book to me, I would like to know if it is worth trying selling it on ebay thereafter...

Sure -- HARP is a class/level system similar to MERP (Middle Earth Role Playing) and D&D3x -- -- you know what I am too lazy to explain

Currently near Memphis, Tn.

I am sorry to hear that, perhaps someday your fortunes will again take an upswing. ;)

Besides, fleeing to the south will only prolong your suffering once the cleansing begins.

Hand over the book now and I promise a swift and only somewhat painful death. :D

Since D&D 3.5 is among the best rpg and can be easily adapted to different kinds of settings, I will say that either Pugio is a lame DM or his players are lame players (or maybe both?? ). Hence, getting that HARP book won't solve any problem.

Why don't you read my post more carefully? The players are currently predisposed to hate D&D because of what our former DM did to them. Yes the players aren't too bright either, but they're the only group I have and without them I'll begin to relapse into RPG deprivation. Please heeeelllllp meeeeeee!

On another note, I will under no circumstances sell this book. I might give it to another needy gamer once I am done with it (if ever) but I will not actually profit off of it. If that makes any difference.

Well, it actually went for about $7.

I have just finished reading several reviews of HARP, and now that I've finished I believe now more than ever that this is the perfect thing for my group. The ability to just jump right in, without large complex rules would really speak to my group.

(Hmm, do you think I should stop now? Everything I say is true, but there probably is such a thing as too much promoting.)

(.... even if it's all true.)

(.... and for a good cause.)

(.... ok ok I'll stop.)

That's what I was thinking ;p. At any rate, alsih20 is really like halfway between Elvistown and TinaTurnerville, and just a short drive from CaseyJoneston.

He's going to make me bleed again, now, isn't he?

Hey Puglio, I know your pain. I was recently in a campaign where that same thing happened. Well, almost anyway. I ended up packing it in because the players couldn't be motivated to show up, or letting me know they weren't going to show.

The very first thing that happened was one of my players moaned about he had cursed the game, and that he would try to DM it just to keep the group together. Guess what he did?

He didnt show... :(

On another note, it doesn't sound like anyone is self promoting much here. I mean, Ive heard a lot worse in other places....it is an election year after all...

By the way, clay, they are all lying :) They just want your book for their own nefarious aims. I plan on using it to build a new group of like minded games, gamers who will climb to the pinnacle of RP'ing, With HARP, I will raise this hobby from a simple game to a lifelong pursuit of Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Beautiful Wenches (TM)...

<clears throat>

Ahem...I mean I would really like that book....Please?

(If begging helps, I'll find a way to your house and spit shine your shoes...)

I have been quite up front about my nefarious goals.

You'd think your future world emperor could get a frickin' bone.

Sheesh.
