So reports of WotC death still premature, eh?
Who reported WotC's death? It is funny how the shoe fits on the other foot so differently.

"We don't have any data." "We don't have any data". "It isn't true." blah blah blah

Now we get one data point and 4E fans turn on a dime and claim victory. What I see from the Pathfinder fans is completely consistent with recent history. This is one data point. It *IS* meaning, but it is still just one data point. And it is good news. And the Pathfinder fans SEE IT as good news. Growth is good.

And to be clear, we have NOT been reporting WotC's death. We have been reporting a shift in the over marketplace from dominance to a split market. And this data point is still consistent with that.

On the other hand here is you actually "agreeing 100%" with a quote that does specifcially predict Paizo "will wither and - likely - die".

Exact same shoe, much more clumsy fit.....

The good news is really that sales are up. That's something we can all agree is a good thing.
Absolutely. This one data point, for what it is worth, and that isn't nothing, is great news.

This thread is even more edition-war baiting than the other similar threads. Methinks it needs closing.
