[Hackmaster] I succumbed

...but for some reason that seems to be the way my group gets the most enjoyment out of it

I don't hate you at all, man. If that's how you and your group have fun, more power to you.

Although 3e is my primary game engine, I play Hackmaster as well. With so many different 3e games I'm involved in, it's nice to have something totally different, but still kind of the same to play.

In fact, Lucias is a good friend of mine and the only reason I met him was because we started playing Hackmaster together (although he's on his third PC and I'm still on my first. He should know better than to attack so many kobolds all at once :D )

Have no fear, gentle fan! M&M will not disappear.

Whew! I can breathe again... :D

Terence is editing, and I am writing. In fact, Terence should be turning over the results of his editing soon. Not the entire book mind you, but some chapters.

This is good news indeed. I look forward to looking over it.

It's amazing ... I picked up these books on an impulse, and yet when I read through them, I get a feeling of excitement

I've heard that from a lot of people. And maybe that's it's appeal. It tugs on those strings of reminiscence. I never played 1e so I can't tell you if you just purchased the books all over. From those people who complain about all the extras added in, I can only assume that you didn't. :) Hackmaster has certainly provided hours of fun for me and made me some new friends in the process.

Y'know, I might have to pick this up one of these days. I've always enjoyed rolling on random tables...

Actually, this is just an excuse to say that your sig rocks, Talath!

I've been GMing Hackmaster for about 5 months now, and havn't looked back. It's the game of choice for me. All of my players have a blast! Welcome and Hoody-Hoo!

If you can, go to www.kenzerco.com to the forums. I'l guarantee you'll get a warm reception.
