Half Celestial Barbarian Runescarren Berserker

Lanfear

First Post
Hello :)

can you please help me to optimize my Character?

we start to play the Legacy of Fire Adventure Path, using the Pathfinder Rules, including D&D Books of 3.5 D&D.
The basic creature is a human/half-celestial. we split the Boni of the class into 3 lvls (a bit like savage progression) and i take the first one at start (with all the benefits the class has to offer), a second one at lvl7/8 and the last one when hitting lvl13 (as the spells progress till lvl19).

That leaves me with 7 levels of Barabrian and 10 levels of Runescarred Berserker.
For the PrC, all abilities offered do full stack with the Barbarian Base Class, like DR, Rage and so on.

What i like to achive is a type of a mean "in ya' FACE"-Character. she will not be the diplomatic one in the group, she is the one who solves the problems when the talking is done (well, i dont plan to talk much anyways^^).
Runescarring will be a sort of Tattooing runes and stuff to her pale white skin.

as weapon i thought about a glaive guisame with a bit shorter stick, losing reach. but that has only style reasons. i just think that would look great.

can you please help me with the feats, skills and attributes, and all the other stuff?

thanks in advance!

I know 3(4) feats anyone dealing massive damage in pathfinder should take
Power Attack, Furious Focus, Dreadful Carnage

PA is obvious, furious focus allows you to ignore the penalty to your first attack when doing power attack, and dreadful carnage is basically a free intimidate check when ever you knock a foe out, melee, range, spell, as long as your effect took them to 0 or less, it is a free intimidate check to ALL enemies in 30 ft who can see both you and the smear that was their buddy

the optional 4th is just boosting your intimidate; skill focus, add str and cha to it, stuff like that

the skills reads nicely, thanks!

to the Runescarred Berserker had full rage progression in 3.5, so we take it as full rage progression in pathfinder too. so i will get the rage powers even with the PrC :D

Speaking of rage powers, I dont know if you have them picked out already but there are 6 I feel I should highlight, they are 2 trees

The First tree is the Beast Totem Powers. Lesser gives you 2 1d6 (1d4 if small) claws to use. if for no other reason, this means you can always be armed when raging even while disarmed. These claws are natural attacks so you only get 2 attacks, but it balances out later. Middle gives +1 nat armor +1/4 levels basically, it canceled the penalty to AC and later improves AC. Final changes the claws to 1d8 each, crit x3 and you can pounce. In all, ripping someone to shreds with your "bear" hands is appealing to me and fits what you said "In their face"

The Second tree is the Elemental Rage powers. Lesser allows as a swift action to give your melee weapons +1d6 of a choosen element for 1 round. This is all melee attacks that round including AoO, cleaving fun, and straight up flurry style attacking. Middle power adds +1d6 of choosen element to all melee attacks while raging. Basically Lesser all the rage, it even says you can use lesser at the same time, just have to choose a second element. Final power changes the middle for effective "give elemental property to melee attacks" to "give elemental BURST property to melee attacks" and your choosen weapon, and the claws have a crit of x3, so that is +2d10 on crits, only restriction is the + on crits is same as middle power elemental wise.

Together these 2 basically say "Charge!! Hit, deal weapon +1d6 +weapon enhancements, add +2d10 on crit, hit, deal weapon +1d6 +weapon enhancements, add +2d10 on crit, hit, deal weapon +1d6 +weapon enhancements, add +2d10 on crit, hit, deal weapon +1d6 +weapon enhancements, add +2d10 on crit, take moment to gloat and choose next target, repeat"

thanks for the answers :)

i will go the leap/battle jump route, taking beast totem rage powers (pounce) and dreadful carnage with intimidating prowness :)
hopefully that will be fun :D
