D&D 5E Half-Elves are taking over my game! (Or are Humans underpowered?)

That's it, screw all of the character concepts I had beforehand.

When I finally get a chance to not be the DM, I'm 100% playing a furry, rabbit-eared Hare Elf.

I mean I'm reskinning the Half-Elf on my end for a Duhallan character AND a Kitsune character.

So yeah rock on with the Rabbit/Hare Elf!

This is a Druin from Nicholas Eame's novels Kings of the Wyld and The Bloody Rose. They transparently fill the roll of elves - except that they have bunny ears.

I love my half-elf barbarian with a 16 charisma

str 16
Dex 12
Con 14
Int 8
Wis 10
Cha 16

And you can bet he has proficiency in persuasion and intimidation. At first level he is the face of the party for social interaction.

16 str&cha, low in and wis...

are you sure you are not a paladin?

i just want to break stereotypes these days. I want to play something similar with a high strength wizard build. I won’t build a perfectly optimized character anymore. I still optimize some. But I been toying with playing an 8 int half-orc wizard that only casts spells without saving throws. That has a high strength and constitution.
