It's the same question as.. "why being a cleric, if a paladin can cure?"

I think you have this backwards: The question is: Why be a fighter, barb or paladin if the cleric can fight better than you anyway AND heal AND have Spells of Mass Destruction?
By the way, I took the advice of someone earlier in this thread and made a halfling warlock, and I can confidently say that it is quite good(for a warlock, anyway).
